UPDATE: Siargao was badly hit by Typhoon Odette and most of the hotels\/resorts\/restaurants were damaged. As of 21 February 2022, the island has reopened to tourists. When is the best time to visit Siargao?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The best time to visit Siargao greatly depends on what you actually want to do on the island. If you want to enjoy the beach, and if you plan to do island hopping, the best time to visit Siargao is during the dry season between March to June. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who want to go surfing, the best time to go to Siargao is between August to November. This is when the wind conditions and the waves are at their best, so you\u2019ll find a fantastic time to surf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Siargao?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The best way to get to Siargao is to take a flight from Manila to Siargao. The travel time is around 2 hours and you will usually get an all-year-round cheap and affordable flight to the island. Alternatively, you can also take a flight from Cebu to Siargao. Check available flights<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another option if direct flights are fully booked is to take a flight to Butuan or Surigao. From Butuan, you may take a bus to Surigao, then take a ferry to Siargao. There are multiple daily ferry services from Surigao to Siargao. Check ferry schedule<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
