As you already knew, Siargao Island has been badly affected by Super Typhoon Rai, locally known as Odette. The island was severely battered by the typhoon and many residents have been displaced. As of now, communication lines, electricity, and water supply are still out of service.
The government has already initiated relief efforts to Siargao but many non-government organizations (NGOs) and private groups have initiated donation drives for the people of Siargao.
To make it easier for us to send our help and donation, we’ve gathered a list of organizations with ongoing donation drives for Siargao and other towns and provinces affected by Super Typhoon Rai.
If you know of any other organization with an ongoing donation drive not listed here, please mention it in the comment below. Please make sure that the organization is legitimate. We do not want to send our help to scammers.
